Gen6 GLOCK pistols are a new generation line built explicitly around user‑driven ergonomics, enhanced control, and factory optic‑ready capability, not just a minor refresh of previous models. The platform combines a reshaped frame, updated slide features, a flat‑faced trigger, and a dedicated optic mounting system into one cohesive family of pistols.
Core ergonomic changes
The Gen6 palm swell is contoured to follow the natural curve of the hand, helping the pistol seat more consistently and securely under recoil. An undercut trigger guard and enlarged beavertail work together to allow a higher grip while still ensuring the slide can cycle freely.
RTF6 texture and contact points
The new RTF6 grip texture merges two texture patterns into one surface to balance performance and comfort across more of the frame. Coverage now includes added areas such as the textured, extended thumb rest, which is designed to increase control during recoil.
Controls, slide, and trigger
The border around the slide stop lever has been enlarged to help reduce unintentional activation during shooting and manipulations. Slide serrations are cut deeper and at a more tactile angle, improving purchase for press checks and slide runs in a variety of conditions. Every Gen6 pistol ships with a flat‑faced trigger that promotes consistent finger placement and trigger pull while maintaining the Safe Action system for safety and reliability.
Optic-ready system and set contents
All standard‑frame Gen6 pistols are optic‑ready with a mounting system engineered for adaptability and durability. Each pistol comes with three optic plates that allow various optics to be screwed directly into the slide. The set includes a GLOCK Safe Action pistol with three magazines, magazine speed loader, cleaning set, instructions manual, pistol case, backstrap set, and three optic plates.
