It features a distinguished 3-position safety that can be easily operated with the thumb of your shooting hand, effectively disengaging the firing pin from the sear. The receiver is crafted from a solid block of forged steel, designed with a flat bottom profile to maximize bedding surface area. It is secured with a two-part epoxy at both the front and rear, preventing any movement during firing. The rifle utilizes a classic Controlled Round Feed (CRF) bolt system, which includes a robust claw extractor that securely grips approximately one-quarter of the cartridge base. This design ensures complete control over the cartridge from the moment it exits the magazine until it is fully ejected, even allowing for the extraction of an unfired round that is not completely chambered. The M.O.A. Trigger System is recognized as the most accurate three-lever trigger system available, providing enhanced fit and finish along with improved accuracy, all while retaining the traditional Pre-'64 controlled round feeding.
