511236391The SX4 elevates functionality, handling, and ergonomics to an impressive standard. It is constructed on the robust, self-adjusting Active Valve system that served as the backbone of the SX3. This model enhances that reliable operating mechanism with better balance, refined controls, and upgraded internal components. Designed as a dedicated hunting tool, it features larger, more accessible functional controls, which are particularly advantageous in wet and cold environments. Its back-bored technology ensures optimal shot patterns that are both dense and uniform, while the Invector-Plus choke tube system guarantees consistent performance. The grip area has been completely reimagined for enhanced comfort and ease of aiming, feeling more streamlined. Both the grip and forearm are equipped with strategically placed gripping panels to minimize slippage. The barrel is designed with a vent rib, a Truglo long bead fiber-optic front sight, and a hard chrome-plated chamber and bore. Additionally, the SX4 incorporates quadra-vent ports, a drop-out trigger, an ambidextrous crossbolt safety, a larger bolt handle, and a bolt release button, along with an Inflex technology recoil pad. This Upland Field model is outfitted with a 26" blued barrel, a nickeled aluminum receiver, and a Grade II/III Walnut stock.
