The MonoFlex bullet combines the technologies of the GMX and FTX bullet
design to give lever gun shooters the advantages of a monolithic bullet
topped with the innovative Flex Tip technology that allows hunters to load
pointed bullets into tubular magazines without danger of primers being
ignited under recoil.
constructed of one-piece copper alloy, MonoFlex bullets offer hunters a
solid that won`t separate, and retains 95% of its original weight. It does
not foul or increase pressure like solid copper bullets. It also
contributes to devastating power. The ballistically-efficient secant ogive
profile delivers the flattest possible trajectories from lever guns, and
upon impact, the Flex Tip design `opens` the bullet, initiating immediate
expansion, even at the lower velocities often encountered in mid- to
long-range lever gun shooting situations.
